Scholarships and Financial Aid for Incoming Students

Notre Dame awards a number of academic scholarships based on performance on the TACHS exam (or COOP-HSPT exam for New Jersey students) and prior school records. Scholarship consideration is given to students who list Notre Dame as their first, second or third choice with preference given to first and second choice candidates. There is no separate exam for those who seek scholarships. Notification of a scholarship award is included in the student’s acceptance letter.

Notre Dame works with families to help make a Notre Dame education affordable. Through the generosity of benefactors, alumnae and friends, we are committed to making a Notre Dame education a reality for families who demonstrate financial need. Applications for financial aid are available at Notre Dame’s Open House on October 28, 2018.

Financial Aid Application Deadlines:

We encourage families who plan on applying for aid to do so before the first deadline.

November 19, 2018 — available to 8th grade applicants (notification approximately one week after acceptance letters are mailed in January).

March 18, 2019 available to recently admitted 8th grade students (notification by late April).
